Three Charleston area companies grabbed honors from a statewide organization recognizing top-notch efforts from firms versed in municipal beautification master plans, road and bridge construction and local infrastructure.
The American Council of Engineering Companies of South Carolina singled out 15 projects and studies Feb. 2 at its annual Engineering Excellence Awards Gala at the Columbia Museum of Art. The gala dates to 1987.
Award-winning engineering projects and studies ranged in value from $500,000 to more than $10 million in engineering and construction costs, the group says.
